What's covered, property by property
Roadway & Parking Lot Plowing
Snow clearing of common roadways, visitor parking, and the windrow debris left behind by the City's street plows. Major entrances and roadways are always first priority.
Driveway Plowing & Salting
Snow clearing and salt application on driveways whenever they're vacant, for townhome and condo-style properties.
Sidewalk & Step Clearing
Sidewalks and steps are cleared once snowfall has stopped, so crews aren't clearing the same path twice mid-storm.
Salt & Ice Melt Application
Rock salt on roadways, driveways, and visitor parking; ice melt on walkways and steps. On-site salt boxes are installed and refilled through the season.
Off-Site Snow Removal
When on-site storage space runs out, we haul snow off-site so parking and access are never compromised.
Pre-Season Site Inspection
Before the season starts, we walk the property with your property manager or board and install winter stakes to mark plow routes and obstacles.

Plowing Begins at 3cm
Operations are triggered once accumulation reaches a minimum of 3cm, so crews aren't sent out for a light dusting.
Major Routes First
Just like the City clears bus routes before side streets, we open major roadways and entrances before working through individual parking stalls.
Cleared Within 6–12 Hours
Our best-effort target is to have your plowed areas clear within 6–12 hours of a snow event ending, with main routes and entrances open for both morning and afternoon rush hour.
Return Visit Next Business Day
We come back the next business day to clear individual parking stalls — residents moving vehicles off-site helps us clear every spot.

Season Terms, In Plain Language
Agreements run November 1st through April 30th, sized to a typical Ottawa winter (up to 260cm of seasonal snowfall per Environment Canada). Billing is spread evenly across the season in equal monthly instalments — no surprise invoices after a big storm.

What happens if my parking spot is blocked by a vehicle?
We return once on the next business day after a storm to clear individual parking stalls. We can't clear a stall blocked by a vehicle, and we require at least two stalls open to plow safely, so moving vehicles off-site helps us clear every spot.

Yes. We plan operations around each storm, prioritizing major roadways and entrances first, with a best-effort target of clearing plowed areas within 6–12 hours of a snow event ending.
